Ok peeps…here we go! When I wake up in the mornings the first thing I do is go to to the bathroom, as 99.9% of us do. (If not, your to young to be reading this. ) What is the very first thing you see? You flip on that bathroom light, look in the mirror and say “OMG!!! Where is that little cutie that brushed her teeth, brushed her hair out, took off her makeup to wake up and see that beautiful, natural face and be like “WHAT?!!!”
Lord knows…that girl is gone! She went to bed and woke up a totally different face! She went to bed stressed, tossed and turned all night wondering what went wrong in her life. She cried all night, because she found out the man in her life cheated on her. She stayed up trying to figure out how to fix her grown children. She was wide awake deciding if her job was worth staying awake for. She tossed and turned wondering if the next call in the middle of the night was going to be in regards to her parent taking a turn for the worst, and she had to get up and go to the hospital. She woke up in the middle of the night hearing a siren, was that siren for someone in her family, or another family. She was awaken in the middle of the night by the phone ringing, knowing her child was in a foreign country, fighting for their own country, and not knowing where her child was. She woke up to many nights worrying, because she’s a Mom. Even over Fifty.
Women wake up each and every day, tired and worn, whether young or old. Every woman wants to wake up beautiful and full of life, pretending nothing is wrong in their world. Reality is, every woman has something going on in their lives that makes them worry, or feels they need to mend.
But when you wake up next to your husband, your boyfriend/girlfriend, your significant other, your child, your parent, grandparent, your best friend, or the most important person in your life, after a regular day, or the most trying day of your life, with your swollen eyes, and out of control hair, the worst breath ever, and they tell you “You are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.” Savor that moment, because you truly are the most beautiful person they have ever seen. They mean it. 💖💖💖
